hongkong!

It has been 2 years since I last went hongkong and I was really excited 2 weeks ago when I boarded the morning flight to hk! (: It was a pretty early flight, so I can understand if the airline wants to cut cost and provide us some breads in the blue box as shown below:

To my surprise, they actually gave me the same box (similar to the size of kfc box) for dinner when I boarded the return flight at 8pm and the box only contains 1 small packet of LAYS, a cookie and a small sandwich. Fortunately I had sth before I went on board. (: Now I understand how airlines save costs – by cutting down on the food for short flights. ):

Just highlight some of the places I went.
-I got to know that there is this shopping mall, Citygate Outlets, where many of the name brand outlets are situated. It is at Tung Chung, Lautau Istand. Can choose to take MTR to Tung Chung from Kowloon Island, which takes up about 1/2 an hour and exit from exit B/C (if I didnt remember wrongly). Be warned that some of the products(esp those design gds) are still pretty expensive even after discount.
Since I have already travelled to Lautau Island, I decided not to give the Giant Buddha a miss. The statue is really gigantic. The journey up the hill takes up about 35 mins (depends on the speed of the driver) and one option is to take bus 23 from the bus interchange at Tung Chung. It was really fulfilling when you climbed to the top, especially for someone who doesnt exercise often.

For those who wants to find good bargains for dried seafood, do not give Sheung Wan a miss. There are rows of shops selling these stuffs at reasonable prices, but it will be good if you’re armed with some knowledge of recognising the products. Gentle reminder, please do not visit the place on Sunday, as half of the shops may be closed. And i got to take the very unique bus! *Shown below*
