Applicant needs to submit:
Tourist Visa
Tourist visa is divided into two categories: Foreign Independent Travellers (F.I.T) and Package Tour Groups.

1. Tourists visas are valid for (3) months.
2. Period of stay in Myanmar restricted to four weeks from date of arrival.
3. It can be extendable (2 weeks visa extension US$ 36 and for one month US$72).
4. Tourists may only stay in hotels and guesthouses during their visit in Myanmar.

   Documents Required for Tourist Visa

   • 2 copies of duly-filled Tourist Visa application forms
   • 1 copy of Report of Arrival form.
   • 3 passport-sized photos (recently taken)
   • Valid passport ( at least 6 months validity )
   • It is compulsory for Foreign Independent Travellers (FITs) holding Entry Visa Tourist [E.V.T ( F.I.T) ] to change on arrival a minimum of US$200 or other equivalent acceptable currency to Foreign Exchange Certificate (FEC) 200 Units. This is the minimum amount to be spent by a tourist during his/her stay in the country and any unused FECs out of this amount will not be reconverted.
   • Children up to 12 years and members of the Package Tour Groups are exempted from changing above-mentioned units of FECs.
   • Package Tour Groups or EVT (Package tour) visa applicants are required a confirmation letter from their respective land operator in Myanmar stating the names and passport nos. of the tour members. The confirmation letter should be confirmed by the land operator in Myanmar directly to the Embassy by fax or e-mail. Land operator must be a registered company under Myanmar Company Act.

1. Business Visa (Single Entry) -Valid for (3) months -Period of stay in Myanmar restricted to ten weeks from date of arrival. It can be extended.
2. Business Visa (Multiple Journey Entry Visa ) -Validity varies from minimum (1) month to maximum (1) year from date of issue. Multiple Journey Entry Visa is considered case by case basis. -Period of stay in Myanmar restricted to ten weeks from date of arrival. It can be extended.
3. Social Visit Visa ( Friends and Relatives ) -Valid for one month -Period of stay in Myanmar restricted to one month from date of arrival. It can be extended.

   Documents Required for Entry Visa / Business Visa

   • 2 copies of duly-filled Entry Visa/ Business Visa application forms
   • 1 copy of Report of Arrival form.
   • 3 passport-sized photos (recently taken)
   • Valid passport ( at least 6 months validity)
   • For Business Visa (Single Entry) a sponsorship letter stating the purpose of entry to Myanmar from the respective company or organization registered in Singapore.
   • For Business Visa (Multiple Journey Entry Visa ) a sponsorship letter stating the business profile in brief of the respective company or organization registered in Singapore as well as business activities with counter part company in Myanmar.
   • For Social Visit Visa some additional forms are required to be filled. Ex-Myanmars who are holding Australian Passport are required prior approval from Myanmar Embassy in Canberra, Australia. The Visa Officer can provide additional information
